Students played a fundamental role in the conception and realization of this exhibition, which is dedicated to two students. Nadia Marx (Graduate Fellow, Harvard University) helped develop the original project and organize related material, and Colleen Farry (Graduate Intern, Syracuse University) provided essential work on the layout and design. The double portrait of Bernard and Mary on the exhibition entry page is a composite image of two photographs, created by Colleen Farry. Although Bernard and Mary never met at Harvard, they are brought together here for this exhibition.
